Katie is not there.

    You take the basement stairs up to the kitchen, and climb the back stairs to the second floor.  You run down the hallway and into Poppy's room.

    You rummage through Poppy's closet as fast as you can.

    "Looking for something?" asks a voice behind you.

    It's Poppy's voice.

    But when you turn around, it's Katie's body.

    And she's holding Poppy's rifle.

    Then, disturbingly, Katie morphs into an old man wearing a bright yellow slicker.

    "Uncle Bud," you say, trembling with fear.  "I... I was just looking for Poppy's fashionable swimming trunks in here.  I--"

    "Sure, sure," says Bud.  "And I'm about to brush my teeth with this rifle."

    "No, Bud, I--"

    "Brad, Powell Camp belongs to the other side of the family now, and you just invaded our territory."

    "I -- I made a mistake, Bud.  Show some mercy, will you?"

    Bud shoots you in the foot.

    "No mercy," says Bud.

    He shoots you in the other foot, and you fall flat on your ass.

    "No mercy..." he repeats.

    Just then Noam storms into the room and dives toward Bud.

    "I'll save you, Dad!" he shouts.

    But Bud grabs him in mid-air and without even looking, tosses him crashing through the window behind Poppy's bed.

    You hear a thud as Noam lands on the lawn below.

    "Goodbye, Brad," says Bud, rasing the rifle against your head.

    But before he can pull the trigger, Webster appears at the door in his full kung-fu regalia.

    "Webster!" you say.  "You've come to save me!"

    "Naw, sorry, Brad," says Webster.  "I can't save you, but I did want to say hi and thank you for being on my show back in the day."

    "Hey, no problem," you tell him, trying to ignore the pain in your bleeding feet.  "Anytime, li'l dude."

    "Later," he says, and walks off.

    "No more interruptions!" shouts Bud.

    "Cool with me," you say.  "Now I'm ready."

    You close your eyes and smile.
